about

Emma and I were exploring the coastline of Jeju Island in South Korea. We walked out along a breakwall that protected a little fishing harbour. It was made of giant star-shaped slabs of concrete. As we got closer to the end of the wall we noticed a haunting sound rising and falling with the waves. It must have been caused by something trapped amongst the rocks, but despite searching for it vigorously the source of the sound remained, and will remain, a mystery.
